BACK IN JAPAN

It was a short(ish) flight from Cairns, taking in the stunning sunset over Mount Fuji from the air, and we soon arrived at Narita Airport.  After a little searching - none of us had remembered to exchange flight details - we eventually turned a corner and spotted Simon 'Backdraft' Tutton across the arrivals hall. We all jumped on the express train to Tokyo, ordered some Asahi beers and caught up on news. Once in Tokyo, we dumped our bags at the Ace Inn in Akebonobashi and headed out to the bright lights of Shinjuku for our first big night of many and to prepare for the next few days... Fuji Rockkkk!
